Although V-Ranger owns the data storage, databases and the V-Ranger portal, you retain all rights to your data.

  • Information about your use of this website. We do not hold any credit card or E-wallet information.

  • V-RANGER Data Collection: Users can log key information such as visit notes and photos. This data is collected in real-time during field visits and can be saved, edited, or shared with other team members.
  • Offline Mode: The app allows users to work offline during field visits. Data is stored locally on the device and automatically synced once the device reconnects to the internet.
  • Task and Workflow Management: The app enables users to manage tasks, set reminders, and track field visit schedules. Supervisors and team leads can assign tasks to field agents, monitor progress, and receive reports in real-time.
  • Real-Time Collaboration: Users can collaborate with colleagues by sharing visit reports, notes, and media files directly within the app. This allows for streamlined communication and decision-making.
  • Analytics Dashboards: The app provides interactive dashboards where users can visualize key metrics such as visit completion rates, task progress, and geographic distribution of visits. Supervisors and managers can get insights into team performance and operational efficiency.

Location Data Details

  • As part of our V-RANGER app’s functionality, we collect location data to improve the efficiency and accuracy of your field visits. This data helps track your movements during visits, manage tasks effectively, and provide real-time insights into the locations of field activities. The app collects the following types of location data:
  • GPS Coordinates: Your device’s real-time geographic location, captured via GPS during field visits.
  • Visit Location History: A log of past locations where field visits took place. This includes time-stamped location points to help track the journey and the coverage area of visits.
  • Route Tracking: The app may track your route between locations to optimize field visit scheduling, travel time, and visit sequencing.

Purpose of Location Data Collection

  • Location data is collected for the following reasons:
  • V-RANGER Accuracy: To ensure that the visit is conducted at the correct location and verify the details of the visit.
  • Task Management: To assign, monitor, and manage tasks based on geographic locations (e.g., assigning visits to specific regions or routes).
  • Real-Time Updates: To provide supervisors with real-time tracking of field agents, enabling better communication and coordination.
  • Analytics and Reporting: To analyze field visit coverage, optimize visit routes, and improve service delivery across different regions.

For Mobile App Users

  • If you are a user of our mobile application, whether as an employee of our direct client or as a customer using the app through our client’s services, please note that your use of the app falls under the data management policies of the organization that is our client. We recommend that you review the relevant privacy policy of your employer or the company providing you with access to our app, in conjunction with this document. Our role with respect to your data is to process it as instructed by our client, whether your employer or the service provider you engage with. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy rights are upheld and safeguarded in accordance with both our policy and the policy of the organization through which you access our services.

Data Retention

  • The retention period for collected data varies based on the type of information:
  • Personal Information: Retained for the duration of the user’s account. If the account is deactivated or deleted, personal information will be retained for a maximum of 12 months after account termination to comply with legal or contractual obligations.
  • Location and Visit Data: Stored for a maximum of 6 months from the date of the field visit. After this period, data will be securely deleted unless it is required for business or legal purposes.
  • Device Information and App Usage: Retained for up to 90 days, after which it will be anonymized or deleted to ensure minimal data retention.
  • Photos: Files may be stored for a longer period if required for operational, compliance, or business purposes.

Cookies

  • Cookies is a small data file containing information which is sent from a web server to your device when you visit the server. The use of cookies and similar technologies is standard across all web servers to recognize your online activities and personalize your experience using our Website and/or App.
  • You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our website.
